There Is Magic In The Air
Sunday, September 13th, 2009Once again a beautiful day here in Wellington, NZ. Tui (native New Zealand bird) are chirping right outside my window. Sun is out in places, and my vege garden is working on its veging technique. Hypnotic you might say.
Because I live in such a beautiful place I don’t watch that much TV. There isn’t much need and there isn’t much on.
A few years ago however, there was a TV series called Johnathan Creek. I love that show! I think they only made one season.
For those of you who have never heard of Johnathan Creek it is a BBC series starring Alan Davies (as magician’s assistant JC) who devises magic tricks in his home which happens to be a windmill; and Caroline Quentin (investigative reporter who stumbles upon an unusually high number of murder mysteries). I like it because of it’s originality. And it’s windmill full of magician’s mystery.
Today a JC quote instead of a Bandler one:
“Like every good trick it was simple in its conception, but intricate in its performance”.
Anyone like to comment on the quote? I think it has much to connect it to life in general. I wish someone like the character of Johnathan Creek could come up with an MP3 a simple design, with intricate delivery. The magic of Johnathan Creek in my ear.
Blessings,
