November 2nd! Christmas Day 2009

This year Kevin Hogan and friends offer a Christmas bonus ahead of time. Yes, I do know it isn’t Christmas on November 2nd, but if you purchase Kevin’s new book 168 Hour Week on that day you could be forgiven for thinking the season has arrived.  In an exclusive offer Kevin presents to you the opportunity to access bonus material worth $2500+

Most people specialise in the non-production of time. That is they are frequently too busy to make time for anything of real value to them.

You may have noticed that there are some problems with the time management and goal setting books out there. If you spent money, primed yourself for change, WROTE the goal down and had only partial success then this is the book you’ve been waiting for…..

This book is the formula to having life with meaning. Living other people’s lives isn’t fun.  At it’s worst it’s soul sucking date with satan.  Not your favourite guy in red.

Not only does 168Hour Week provide extreme value for money but if you make your purchase on the day of the promotion you can access additional bonus material.  If you purchase one book on November 2nd, this has to be it then this is for you.

After purchase you can take your receipt to www.kevinhogan.com and pick up a couple of thousand dollars worth of bonus material. Just be aware that to be eligible for all those goodies you MUST make you purchase on November 2nd, not before, not after.

I’m certain you will be glad you did.

Blessings,
Keri Eagan

The Healing Power Of Voice

The Healing Power Of Voice

There are many things that intrigue me about the human voice.  For one the chakra associated with it corresponds 3903082164_c10d1b6366directly with the base chakra.  One of my spiritual teachers told me that you can pick up if a man has sexual difficulties it can be heard in their voice.  I would suspect if this were the case that sexual issues could be healed by working at improving the voice.  When I come across someone with a technique, I’ll let you know.  I did ask about it before and was told for males they would practice lowering the timbre as they spoke which is pretty cool to know as a technique for alternative natural healing.

The vocal cords are muscles which must be used.  In older folk the quality of the voice diminishes unless they use their voice all the time like a singer or an actor.  Older actors don’t get voice fade as they age.

Training in singing will improve breathing problems like asthma because it strengthens muscles used to breath.  Also it will make you feel happier according to a recent study by the University of Queensland*.  So there you go, singing in the shower is good for you. For a great voice training product try this.

There are various alternative healing techniques associated with the voice which I will write about later such as toning, chanting, and overtone singing.  The voice is a fabulous tool for healing and for building confidence.

Recently I attended a performance by children who clearly loved to perform.

Camp of Rock (yes, idea born after the Disney movie “Camp Rock”) was held over a two week period at YMCA Camp Kaitoke.  During that time the children went through intensive training in dance, various instruments, and wrote there own songs to perform at the end of the two week period.  Audience members like me were blown away by how much they had to have learnt to perform like they did.

How many skills did the children learn during those two weeks?  Beyond the obvious musical skills they learnt discipine yeilds results.  That with the right support they can accomplish what ever they want.  About half the children who attended didn’t have much musical experience they only had what they learnt at camp over the fortnight.

To take inexperienced children and somehow draw out a professional level performance takes considerable effort.  Unlike a paying adult children who are afraid in front of groups or their peers won’t just do as instructed.  They need coxing and lots of it.

With each fear we overcome new options open up to us.   These children will have the memory of this unique experience forever and the fears they overcame now only serve as an expansion to their lives.

NLP Techniques – My Body, The Alien Being

Thursday, September 17th, 2009

Body are fab.  Bodies are weird.  The scariest thing in the world is looking around yours and wondering what the heck is going on.   Maybe if it you chuck enough money/healing energy/attention you will be able to get things back to normal again.

Time and time again NLP has shown that the body can and will change if given the right mental and emotional circumstances.  Occasionally it has been shown to reverse symptoms of aging.

Before you get too excited, let me say this.  You can spend lots of time going through the various NLP techniques and still not get the result you were after.  Then again, you can work with an absolute novice fumbling with a manual and experience a miracle.  Use NLP enough and miracles become common place even if you are not that good.

One man stands out in this field as being EXTRORDINARY.  That is difficult to do because in the field of NLP and Hypnosis are a disproportionate amount of high achievers.  I doubt you have heard of him.  I’ve known about him for awhile now because finding out obscure healing techniques is my hobby.

This guy has facilitated people out of comas.  Even managed to help stroke victims out of paralysis…..drum roll please!

Introducing Dr Robert Fletcher.  I hope you are about to google him.  Good luck with that cause there isn’t much around to glean information from and of course there is more than one of them.  It appears Dr Fletcher has a quiet and unassuming type of character.  My kind of guy.

So how could you possibly facilitate healing in a comatose person?  Simple.  He uses ideomotor signals to talk to the unconscious mind.  Also he has documented (last time I checked) 80+ different metaprogrammes.  A key clue in the way he facilitates healing is that he utilises the way the body naturally alters over time.  Obviously if your body is changing over time this gives you a type of metaprogramme.

When my body turns into an alien being (many do) I want my family to give him a call, or at least one of his students.  Dr Fletcher has developed Thought Pattern Management (TPM) a series of techniques that appear to be closely related to NLP.

Blessings,

Keri Eagan
