I’ve never learned so much about a subject I knew nothing about.

I also thought by looking at the picture it resembled a nut of some kind. It would be interesting to see one being ground down.

I bet that meditation session was interesting.

Hi Darryl, Sizes start really small, about an inch....probably they could be ground down smaller but I think they just do as little as they can get away with to make the lingam smooth. The giant ones I've heard of are a couple of meters high. These are normally placed in one location to strengthen the prana in the area. K

You are right — this is new to me! Upon looking at the picture, I thought of an acorn. How big are linghams? I googled “lingham” and some of the pictures made the lingham appear to be fairly sizable. I imagine they come in various sizes, right?
