Alternative Healing Therapy Across The Globe

Alternative Healing Therapy Across The Globe

Just a quick note highlighting the valuable work of Anne Godfrey.  Music is a little loud, but info still carries.  If you check out the middle piece you can see the alternative natural healing of agnihotra taking place.  (See, I’m not alone!)

Executive summary: Anne Godfrey is an Australian based in India. She witnessed the suffering of Indian women. Another Indian woman from a nearby village was holding mass meditation meetings. Anne’s website rosecircles.com sells rose related products made by the women to empower them when they have little other alternative.  Natural healing occurs when women from all over the globe to support this project by purchasing the products and forming their own healing circle of women.

The suggested day for the women to meet is Thursday – what is it about Thursdays?  Must be a good day for alternative healing – therapy all over the world.

Blessings,

Keri Eagan

  3. Reminds me of E.F. Schumacher and his “Small is Beautiful” philosophy. When people, both men and women begin ot take charge of their lives and to empower themselves it is truly a beautiful thing. Thank you for introducing us to http://www.rosecircles.com.

Thursdays are good, just far enough into the week to be comfortable but still socially structured enough to get folks to commit to meetings.

Dang, couldn’t get he video working, but I get the concept. Nice touch. In college we (my happy house of 3) hosted Full moon drum beating sessions. Though I was the hard driving member of the group I was always prepared with extra dried beans and paper plates and or coffee tins so a new drummer could join the circle.

We had some trouble with keeping the grass mowed, but otherwise it was a sweet set-up. A bunch of chicks drumming in the dark to a full moon. We always had a swarm of men congregating outside the house. Totally primal.
