A question from yesterday about swine flu shot vs regular flu shot.
Basically the seasonal flu shot only protects against one strain the authorites are predicting to be prevalent for the current season.
These shots are different from year to year and will not assist in preventing of swine ‘flu.
Time is taken to test the regular seasonal shot, but there are some commentators who think that any vaccine is dangerous. Some say that vaccines have contributed to the rise in Autism. Also the fact that vaccines have mercury and other substances that are known to be toxic is of great concern especially since young children whos immune system is still developing are targeted.
There are options to boost immunity naturally such as getting adequate sleep, avoiding sugar which immediately lowers immunity, and drinking water. A great idea from Dr Mercola is to supplement vitamin D which you can get prescribed from a doctor.
Many people find alternative medicine healing enough to avoid doctors most of the time.
I think perhaps with the H1N1 Vaccine the most powerful alternative healing option we have is to use our mind.

I wasn’t aware flu shots had mercury or that sugar immiediately affects us. I think I’m more concerned about the sugar now.

I just went through teacher conferences with my 8th grade old son today. The amount of kids out of school is unbelievable. While visiting with the teachers, and my wife it was brought to my attention that they are no long testing for “swine” flu. It sounds like once againg the government and the health practioneers over-exagerated the illness.

Hi Keri,
thanks for that information some natural ways to boost our immune system, like avoiding sugar. Does that include refined carbs, too, because they become sugar in our systems?

Vitamin C and Lysine are all that is needed to provide an adequate level of protection against the flu. Another good step is to exercise and eat a healthy diet while avoiding unhealthy habits like smoking, drinking and staying up late. Live a healthy lifestyle and your odds of contracting either flu is small and your chances of overcoming it quickly if you do get it is increased.

Thanks for the tips. Was it here where I read that keeping your hands clean is an important measure, along with gargling and cleaning out your nasal passages with salt water at least once a day. Wherever it was that I read this it also said that the mouth and nose is where the virus gets its foothold. The salt water fights them off.

Always avoid flu shots or vaccination as much as you can. They’re pertty abd for health. The Triple M shot is one of the worse for young ones.

It’s amazing how many risks we take with our health everyday just because someone in a lab coat says to . . . we are suckers for authority.
Just have to be careful who we consider authority.

I’m with many of you, no flu shot for me. the vaccine only protects against one type of flu and if that’s not the type you get exposed to, guess what, your flu shot did no good.
So many better ways to maintain optimal health. Good sleep, lots of water are an excellent start.

I don’t take the shots. Probably never will.I don’t believe in them. I’m with you – use the mind.
